Durga Puja is here! And it is time for some serious pandal hopping. We have compiled a list of the five best Durga Puja pandals for you to visit this year.
- Chittaranjan Park: Everyone knows that this is the ‘most’ Bengali locality in Delhi. There are quite a few pandals to choose from here … K-Block, B-Block, Shiv Mandir, Pocket 40. Take your pick or visit all!
- Kashmere Gate: This is the oldest Durga Puja Samiti in Delhi which started in 1910. It is held on the lawns of Bengali Sr. Sec. School, Alipur Road. People flock here in dozens to eat the authentic Kolkata biryani.
- New Delhi Kali Bari: This is another one of the oldest Durga Pujas in Delhi. It is held in one of the most important temples of the Bengali community in Delhi. Head over here for the Bong vibes.
- Matri Mandir (Safdarjung Enclave): This Durga Puja is known for its interesting thematic pandals. This year, their theme is Thakurbadi, meaning the home of Rabindranath Tagore. They are also pushing for an eco-friendly celebration this year.

Aram Bagh: This puja is known for its stunning idol. Visit this pandal only to see the spectacular idol of Durga and her four children.
